This is the first beach we reach in Mazagón coming from the direction of Matalascañas. On this beach are the remains of another tower in the
early-warning network: la Torre del loro (the Parrot Tower), after which the beach is named. There aren't usually many people on it and it's
ideal for walking (as are all the beaches in the area). The road to the beach is quite easy to find: it's signposted off the Mazagón-Matalascañas
main road.
A curious fact: if you walk in a complete circle around the remains of the tower, you'll pass through four municipalities - Palos de la Frontera,
Moguer, Lucena del Puerto and Almonte.
