The next along from Nuevo Portil Beach and sharing the same natural setting, San Miguel and El Rompido are two beaches which stretch for a
kilometre along the coast. They form the village beach of the coastal locality of El Rompido, a small fishing community which in recent years
has experienced a booming international tourism industry, helped by its location on the estuary of the River Piedras. There one finds El
Rompido's marina and a wide -and steadily growing- range of leisure facilities and eateries. To make the most of this beach we recommend you
go when the tide is in.
From here you can also get to the sandy spit called La Flecha (The Arrow) by ferry and take in the views from its panoramic viewpoints.
